Buffy Season Four.
Odd to be rewatching this now - haven't really sat down and done so since it originally aired in the UK - the Riley factor always made me steer away and revisit Season 3 instead. So far, it's a lot better than I remember it being. When I first watched the first episode of this season where Buffy goes to College, I wasn't long out of college myself . But I identify with her sickening 'fish out of water' feeling a lot more distinctly now then back then when my own memories of college must have been fresher in my mind. I wonder why that is?
Better as it all is so far, I still think I'll be skipping the "Beer Bad" episode which in my hazy memory, presents itself as the worst episode of Buffy ever...
Last episode of Heroes tonight, which as usual means I get to watch it Tuesday evening. So I will spend the day desperately trying to find the strength not to give in and read the recaplet on TWoP (or any other sources of spoilers).
My spidey sense is still tingling like crazy that the show is mean enough to tease me with the possibility of Nathan's death (again). On the upside - yay! reunion! The writing so far this season has been utter drek so ordinarily, my hopes would not be high. But this IS Adrian Pasdar, who as well as being a superb actor also seems to be wonderfully in tune with what certain sections of the audience demands. And that means touching and bloody lots of it!
Aargh. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a looong day in the office for all sorts of reasons...
