Cor! 24 is ace, isn't it? I know I'm like the last person in the galaxy to start watching but wow! I bought the season one boxed set for my Dad for Christmas and we watched hours 12-4 and now I am home from their house and have withdrawal symptoms.  Utterly absurd and yet so, so addictive - it is like televisual crack to me but now I am home from my parents and questions are burning my brain. ( spoilers for 12-4 - as if anyone ELSE still needs the spoiler cut, but you never know )

In other news, I rewatched "Excalibur" a few days ago and now  I CANNOT get a jumbled mix of the Wagner soundtrack out of my mind - it is slowly dissolving my brain. I blame my insomnia. Also the ending of that movie always gets to me and never fails to give me the impression that we all just lost something very precious. Wonderful, wonderful film.
